Mr. President, If You Are Looking For A Jobs Plan, Ask A Conservative

It’s clear, Mr. President, you have no job plan. With a nation facing wild swings in the stock market, unacceptable employment figures that are now the new “norm”, rising public debt, and a discourse in Washington growing by the day, it’s clear by your actions you have no idea what to do. The nation needs a leader and not someone to just vote “present”.

Your vacation in the height of the economic doomsday was an escape from responsibility. You mentioned, two weeks before your vacation, a jobs plan would soon be coming from your office to stimulate jobs. Mr. President, this is much bigger than some agriculture or education bill you often voted “present” for in the Illinois statehouse. This is the United States of America, on the verge of bankruptcy, economic doom, and a double-dip recession that could rival The Great Depression. America needs not another speech. America needs not a Jobs Plan. America needs a leader who understands a free-market economy. Mr. President, if you are looking for a jobs plan, ask a conservative.

It’s helpful to understand how the job market intertwines with the free-market economy. I know it gets muddied with the ever-growing government interventions and control of the markets by your administration. It is in this situation and moment in time, that it’s helpful to have experience to draw upon. Having no experience, no private sector job, it’s easy to see why we have a “leader” flailing in the wind. Mr. President, the answer to our problems is simple—ask a conservative.

The free market is always in a state of balance. It is attempting to fix itself. No matter how much false stimulus or overregulation by government you attempt to provide, the market will adjust to balance itself to an optimal level. The more you do to interfere, the worse the market becomes. The market is responding like a fever attempting to kill a virus that isn’t good for the host body. Mr. President, our economy is unhealthy and doesn’t like the germs causing the illness. Obamacare, excessive regulations, increased spending and taxes, and the growing debt are killing productivity and wealth in this country. The market loves productivity and wealth as much as a human body loves air, water and valuable nutrition. Mr. President, you are killing this economy. If you are looking for a Jobs Plan, ask a conservative.

Jobs, real jobs that don’t include the Tonka truck fetish of building roads and bridges that you have fallen in love with, employ people and circulate money through the economy. To employ people, the market needs to grow. The market needs for money to circulate over and over again. This grows the market by increasing productivity, employment, and wealth. Yes wealth! Wealth is actually a six letter word, not four as your college professors once taught you and are now advising you, that is what the market is looking for. Wealth in the market is not created by taking from million and billionaires and giving to less wealthy folks. Wealth is created by circulating money freely and voluntarily throughout the private sector. This is scary to you. It involves doing more than voting “present”. It involves trusting the private sector to do what it has always done—grow the best economy known to man. Mr. President, if you are looking for a jobs plan—ask a conservative.
